How it runs
Connect the Page
Sign in with Facebook and pick the Pages you want covered. The permissions are Meta-reviewed and cover comments on the Pages you pick: reading them, hiding them, and replying as the Page. No ad account access, no personal profile access.
Set the rules
Each Page gets its own filters, keyword list and whitelist. Tune one Page without touching another, and copy a set across Pages when they should match.
Leave it running
Matching comments are hidden automatically — Facebook keeps them visible to their author and that person’s friends, and out of everyone else’s view — and every action is logged with the rule that caused it.

Two things this does not do
It does not clean up your back catalogue. Moderation starts at the moment you connect a Page. Comments already sitting under last year's posts stay exactly where they are — no tool that respects Meta's API is going to reprocess your history for you.
It hides by default rather than deleting. Hiding is reversible and quiet; deleting is neither. You can switch a rule to delete when you are sure, but the filters you start with all hide.

Can I stop people commenting on a Page post?
Facebook lets you choose who can comment on a Page post from the post’s own menu. That setting is not available once the post is an ad or boosted, which is the case most people are actually asking about — what you can do about ad comments.
Where are the comment filter settings?
Settings & privacy → Settings → Followers and public content. Two controls sit there: the profanity filter, which runs on Meta’s own unpublished word list, and a blocked words list of up to 1,000 phrases you write — how both behave.
What actually happens when I hide a comment?
It stays visible to whoever wrote it and to their friends, disappears for everyone else along with its replies, and nobody is notified. You can unhide it — hide versus delete versus block.
Do those settings cover comments on my ads?
The profanity filter and blocked words do. Moderation Assist — the one that hides comments from brand-new accounts and accounts with no photo — does not: Meta says so in as many words.
